An outbreak of measles has been reported.
Since the outbreak a few days ago scores of people from many parts have been flocking the out patients and casualty departments.
People from all walks of life have been affected and had to be taken to the Georgetown Hospital.
Quite a few cases received attention from private practitioners.
Workers and school children who are affected are advised by Doctors to stay in bed for about three
days.
Mixing with others will spread the infection.
More than one third of the persons affected are those between the ages of 1 to 19.
