Desmond John was yesterday found guilty by Magistrate Owen Fung-Kee-Fung on a charge of unlawful possession of a radio and two suit lengths
He was jailed for three months.
The prosecutor said that about 3 a.m on August 9, the Police were on patrol in High Street when he saw John riding a bicycle on which he was towing another man.
When he saw the Police he handed the parcel to the man being towed who refused to hold it and caused it to fall to the ground.
John however continued riding and was pursued and caught by the Police.
