The Post Office Administration has announced that as a result of the unusual demand for the Christmas commemorative stamp bearing the picture of Millie the Macaw of Expo 67 fame, a reprint of the five cents and 25 cents denomination has been made.
The reprint would however be done on a different background.
The stamps would be on sale at all post offices and postal agencies from this morning for a period of three months, the announcement said.
First day cover envelopes of 25 cents each will also be available at the General Post Office and at post offices in New Amsterdam, Kitty, Bourda, Mckenzie, Suddie and at Bartica .
The first day cover service at the GPO will be provided on the first floor.
