Julian is a lifelong resident of Belladrum Village. He is a plumber by trade having completed his education at St Alban’s Anglican School, Richard Ishmael Secondary School, The Georgetown Technical Institute, and the The Guyana Industrial Training Centre.

He served in the Guyana National Service (GNS) for 14 years and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. The highlight of his GNS career was his participation in the Great March from the GNS Kimbia Training Centre to Georgetown.
Along the way he undertook community development work at Belladrum and ElDorado Villages and maintenance at the Belladrum Primary School. Presently, Julian is the chairperson of the Belladrum Community Council (CDC) and Chairperson of the Belladrum Co-operative Society.
At the CDC Julian is responsible for the Piggery project, the multi-purpose IT project, the library, and the craft area.
