Two distinguished former pupils of the Belladrum Primary School in Region 5 (Mahaica/Berbice) have continued to donate gifts and other forms of encouragement and support to children attending their alma mater.
Dr. Wilfred David and Dr.Beverly Reynolds last week donated hampers to fourteen pupils of the school aged between five and eleven in continuation of their commitment to provide support for its pupils.
The venue was the computer room of the school.
Dr Wilfred L David resident in the USA is a regular contributor towards the development of his native village, Belladrum.

Dr Wilfred David is a world class distinguished economist, philosopher, and public intellectual who was educated at the University of Oxford (D.Phil.) Doctor of Philosophy, M.A., (Master of Arts) the University of London, B.A. (honors), and University College London School of Economics and Political Science.
Dr. Beverley Gail (Reynolds) David, also resident in the USA has over the past four years, provided stipends to over 100 pupils and students from the Belladrum community as a form of assistance to them in their furtherance of their primary and secondary school education.
Last week hampers were handed over to the fourteen beneficiaries by Mr, Abraham David himself a former pupil of Belladrum Primary in the presence of Headteacher Ms Sheniza McPherson ,President of the school’s PTA Ms.Avella Wilson and parents relatives and friends of the beneficiaries. (END).
