Holder of Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice (DNP)
Dr. Noble hails from Belladrum Village, West Coast Berbice and currently resides in Brooklyn. NY.
She attended Belladrum Primary School and Mahaicony Secondary School and embarked on her nursing career at the New Amsterdam Hospital Nursing School in 1982.
She left Guyana and continued nursing in the USA.
In 2017, in fulfillment of the requirements of an Advanced Practice Nurse , she obtained Board Certification from the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
She graduated in Nursing from St. Joseph College, Brooklyn, BSc, MSc, and eventually Chamberlain University with a Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice (DNP), last year (2021)
She currently works as the Director of Nursing Services in a skilled long-term care facility in Brooklyn, NY.
She informed WeNEWS : “I attribute my academic achievements and professional development to the coaching and inspiration of our mother. Our humble beginnings and environment limited our educational choices.
“Nevertheless, mother instilled in us the yearning for the pursuit of excellence in our every endeavor. That motivation propelled me to the zenith of my education, having achieved my Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice, DNP. 2021 from Chamberlain University.
She noted: “The health care system we face in the 21st century is challenging. The system emphasizes practical and quality patient care and outcomes. In this regard my education and experience allow me to be a team-player. Still, I hold the view that there is something new to learn each day and I am an ever-willing participant to share what I have learned.
I end with the saying of a wise man, ‘Life is like a mirror. It gives us not what we want. Instead, it gives us who we are’.
